11th Annual Apple Bake Off Wrap Up!

11 years strong, the Waterside – A V!VA Retirement Community’s Annual Apple Bake Off remains an exciting event that draws dozens of bakers and taste testers from across Carleton Place and Ottawa Valley to the Community building.
This year’s apple recipe submissions included everything from homemade apple jelly and apple pies to apple blossoms and so many other tasty apple treats. Special thank you to our judges Father David, councilor Toby, former Team Member Michael, and Lifestyles Committee Member George Wood for doing such a fine job of taste testing and judging the apple submissions!
This year’s winner is Waterside Team Member Craig, with an Appletini. Second place went to Judy for an apple pie crisp, and third place went to Team Member Marty!
