A 200 Year Old Hawaiian Party

Waterside had a great time participating in Carleton Place’s 200th Anniversary parade down Bridge Street. The theme was “200 years ago” OR any kind of party theme; and since we love to party at our Community, we decided to celebrate like we were in Hawaii.
So Community Members and Team Members dressed in Hawaiian leis, grass skirts, and Hawaiian outfits and, as we toured down the parade route, many commented on how wonderful our Community bus looked and what fun we have at Waterside. Thank you to all who travelled with us on the bus, and cheered us on as we passed out swag to the parade watchers along the way.
As part of the 200th anniversary celebrations, Carleton Place will be hosting the RCMP Musical Ride on Saturday, September 14th at 2:00pm so make sure you sign up for the bus trip.
