Giving back with our talents

One of our January crafts at Meadowlands Retirement Community in Ancaster included creating a sensory lap pillow. A large group of Community Members with wonderful sewing skills and talent came together to create beautiful tactile pillows. When discussing possible uses, our amazing group of Community Members suggested donating to those with dementia and children with autism, so that’s exactly what we’re doing! It’s always so great to see the incredible talents our Community Members have and how they can still contribute and find a sense of purpose each and every day.
