Surviving the Tornado

V!VA Barrhaven Retirement Community, managed to avoid damage after the weekend the tornado hit the Ottawa area in September. Community Members were kept safe in the comfort of our Community. Regardless of not having power for 48 hours, Team Members managed the situation very well thanks to their great effort and hard work.
A great BIG thank you to all Team Members who came in to help on their days off, to ensure everything was running as smoothly as possible and for being kind and caring during the crisis. Another big thank you goes out to our Community Members for remaining patient and understanding as we waited for Hydro One, who was working around the clock to restore power to the thousands and thousands of people throughout the area affected.
