When we design our suites, we take our time to think about what is most important to our Community Members. For example, our spacious suites include walk-in closets because we appreciate how important storage is when moving from a larger home. Our kitchenettes feature 23" wide apartment size appliances instead of smaller bar-fridge models because we know that sometimes you just want to prepare a snack for the grandkids instead of heading over to the dining room. Our bathrooms feature a walk-in shower with a built-in seat and safety bars so you can bathe with ease.
All suites include the following:
- Seasonal personal control of heating and air conditioning
- Kitchenette with 23" wide apartment size appliances and microwave (Independent Living suites only)
- Private bathroom with sit-in shower and safety bars

Life at V!VA Mississauga is far different from long-term care! In fact, it keeps our loved ones engaged and may even delay the need for long-term care. The team is full of energy, fun and positivity. I’m constantly amazed at all the seminars and special celebrations going on. From St Patrick’s Day concerts, Easter celebrations, to Blue Jays opening day festivities and many more, every day really is great here! Even through the pandemic, there is still safe interaction in the community. There are far more opportunities to socialize than if one lived alone in an apartment building or house. My dad enjoys going for walks outside, playing pool with his friends, the live piano concerts, and overall, being a part of a great community.

Yesterday was the seventh anniversary of my life at VIVA Mississauga Retirement Community, and I would like to congratulate the entire Team.
